About Me

Dedicated to advancing targeted cancer immunotherapies through molecular cell biology engineering and computational data science.

Scientific Profile

Hi, I'm Kamari Smalls — a Cancer Immunotherapy & Molecular Biology Researcher

I specialize in adoptive T cell therapy, TCR expression platform optimization, CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing, therapeutic antibody discovery, and computational biology data analysis.

Currently serving as a Researcher in T Cell Immunology & Oncology at Tmunity Therapeutics, Inc. in Philadelphia, PA, I develop novel TCR expression platforms in primary human CD4+ and CD8+ T cells, optimize T cell expansion protocols, and utilize computational biology pipelines to analyze dextramer binding. Previously at Integral Molecular, Inc., I supported therapeutic antibody discovery targeting membrane proteins using Membrane Proteome Array (MPA) technology and co-authored NIH-grant-funded scientific reports.

I hold a Master of Science in Molecular & Cell Biology and Genetics from Drexel University College of Medicine and a B.S. in Biology (Minor in Chemistry) from Temple University, along with specialized certification in Bioinformatics with R and Data Products.
